How to export a GPX from COROS

COROS is one of the easier platforms to get a GPX out of: unlike Strava and Garmin, the phone app exports files directly. Here is how, as of October 2026, from the app and from COROS Training Hub on the web, plus how to request your whole history.

Not sure whether you want GPX or FIT? The short version is here: GPX for the route, FIT for everything.

Export one run from the COROS app

  1. 01Open the COROS app and tap the Activities tab.
  2. 02Tap the run.
  3. 03Tap the three dots in the top right, then Export Data (just Export on some versions).
  4. 04On Select Data Format, tap .gpx. The other choices are .fit, .tcx, .kml and .csv.
  5. 05Save or send the file. On iPhone, the share sheet lets you Save to Files, AirDrop or email it. On Android, choose Share to other or Download; downloads land in the COROS/Data folder on your phone.

Export one run from COROS Training Hub

Training Hub is COROS's website for your training (training.coros.com, or trainingeu.coros.com in Europe).

  1. 01Sign in and open the Activity List tab.
  2. 02Click the run.
  3. 03Click the export icon in the top right of the activity (its tooltip says Export).
  4. 04In Export data, click .gpx. The file downloads straight away.

Export your whole history

Bulk export is on the website only, and only as FIT or TCX, not GPX.

  1. 01In Training Hub, open Activity List and click Export data on the right, next to Import data.
  2. 02Enter the email address to receive it, choose .fit (the default) or .tcx, and click Submit.
  3. 03Wait for the email. COROS says it arrives within 5 working days, and the download link is valid for 7 days.

You can request a bulk export once every 7 days. Sleep and daily data aren't included.

Things to know first

Treadmill and indoor runs have no route. COROS describes GPX as for outdoor activities with GPS data, and Training Hub hides the GPX option for runs without any.

Heart rate travels better in FIT. COROS GPX files usually include heart rate and cadence, but in an extension some apps don't read. COROS itself suggests FIT when heart rate matters, and for uploading to Strava or TrainingPeaks.

A GPX is exact. If the run starts at your door, so does the file. Trim the first and last few hundred meters before posting it anywhere public.

What to do with it

A GPX is the shape of the run as your watch saw it. Laurels draws from exactly that: shorts embroidered with the route, the time and the weeks behind it. The free tools (Race Wrapped, Run Receipts, Run Song) will take a GPX when they open.

Common questions

Can you export a GPX from the COROS app?

Yes. Open the run in the Activities tab, tap the three dots, then Export Data, and choose .gpx. The app also exports .fit, .tcx, .kml and .csv.

Where does COROS save exported files on Android?

Choosing Download saves the file to the COROS/Data folder on your phone's storage. Share to other sends it straight to another app instead.

How do I bulk export COROS activities?

In COROS Training Hub, open Activity List, click Export data, choose .fit or .tcx and submit. The download arrives by email within 5 working days and the link lasts 7 days. Bulk export doesn't offer GPX.

Should I export FIT or GPX from COROS?

GPX for the route itself, FIT for everything else. COROS recommends FIT when heart rate matters or when uploading to Strava or TrainingPeaks.
